From the dove to the fish

The meeting of December 26, which many of you were unable to attend (isn't that right, Frenchies ? ), went very well. Nicolas gave us a great presentation of Hanukkah. And our conversation then focused on the notion of Messiah. What is a messiah - or the Messiah - for us, for different branches of Judaism and Christianity. It was quite seasonal, since we were celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah, two festivals that belong in their own right to the messianic unfolding of history.
Without necessarily losing sight of this messianic horizon, We return to Jonah in this fresh new year 2025, and address the passage in chapters 1 and 2, which corresponds to the transformation from Jonah-dove to Jonah-fish.
This work session promises to be a joyful and meaningful one, talking about the here and now as much as about the there and back then.
You are invited on Thursday, January 16 at 18:00, to the house.
Our lovely children, as usual, will have a separate room.
You can, if you wish, bring a little something to eat.
